What’s in place at GOLSON?
We will only be accepting card payments and Apple Pay and encourage you to book online and pay in advance where possible; we will be able to take card payments for any additional services / treatments or to enable you to purchase hair care and styling products on the day.
We ask you to arrive only if you have an appointment or are arriving for a skin test. Please wait outside of the salon and wait for a member of the team to greet you.
Please arrive by yourself unless you need to be accompanied for medical / care reasons or are accompanying a young child
We ask that you call to reschedule your appointment giving us as much notice, if you feel unwell.
Sanitise your hands before and after your appointment
It is your personal choice to wear a mask or arrive without, and unless specifically requested, we will follow your lead and wear a mask if you arrive with a face covering. No judgement at all for you preference.
Screens have been removed, but we still have them in-salon and are happy to place them next to your client station, just ask your stylist. Each station and all hair styling tools will be sanitised between each client
We encourage you to rebook your next appointment prior to leaving the salon or book via our website or app whilst you’re in having your hair done. You will be asked to pay a deposit if you are visiting us for a colour service for the first time, or if you are a regular GOLSON client and booking in for a Kerasilk or large colour appointment. Deposits are transferable to a new date or refundable when 48 hours notice is given.
Allergy tests for colour appointments remain in place and must take place 48 hours prior to your colour service. We have also registered as a Colourstart Passport salon and you can find out more information here. You don’t need to make an appointment, just turn up during salon opening hours. Please wait by the door and one of the team will come to you! Remember, if you don’t have an up to date allergy test, we will be unable to carry out your colour appointment.
We WILL have the same friendly atmosphere without the hug, kiss handshake or high-five at this time, however, we’ll continue to have the same massage backwash chairs to help you relax and we welcome a good old chinwag, or you’re free to sit back, relax and enjoy a beverage and some music.
We have charging points at each station, so feel free to bring your smart phone or tablet and scan the digital magazine QR code to view a full range of magazines to browse during your visit.
