When Did You Start Your Hairdressing Journey?

“I first started hairdressing 25 years ago, in my home country of Greece. Hairdressing in Greece can be hard work because as Mediterraneans, our hair texture is often very curly, thick and sometimes unruly!  Clients in Greece have high standards.  They want a great hair cut or colour and they want the appointment to be as fast as possible.  As we say in Greece, “time is money”.”

Have You Noticed A Difference Between Your Greek & English Clientele?

“Since coming to live and work in England 5 years ago, I’ve found that clients are much more excited to have something new done to their hair, whether it’s a haircut restyle or a complete colour change.  They enjoy listening to suggestions and I’ve re-discovered the magic behind hairdressing and allow my creative juices to flow.” 

 

What Do You Love Most About Bridal Hairstyles?

“One of the things I first loved, was watching the stylists creating bridal hairstyles.  For me, bridal hairstyles are always special.  They are always unique to the individual bride and the only tool you need is the bride-to-be’s ideas and imagination and I have lots of that! For me every single bridal hairstyle is special, and I love to be part of each bride’s special day.”
