Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing and why?  I love working with natural colours, coppers, browns and blondes that enhance my client's features and looks. Precision cutting is one of my favourite things to do, I enjoy cutting sharp bobs and short haircuts

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  I've always loved making people feel good about themselves in any which way I can.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  Sassoon always inspires me and my team. I love learning from them too and seeing their new ideas that they have with colours.

What is your ultimate ambition?  My ultimate ambition is to win GOLD at the Global Creative Awards for Goldwell.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Talker, veggie, education.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others. I ran the London Marathon in a pair of leopard print shorts!

Emily has been a familiar face at our GOLSON Oxley Park salon for a few years now and in 2024 joined the GOLSON Brooklands Square team as Salon Manager. 

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing and why?  All colour particularly colour correction. I love all types of cuts - no job is too big or too small!

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  I love to make people feel relaxed and happy in our salon and love when I have fixed an issue they've had so that they feel great!

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  My clients inspire me to be more creative and achieve career and skill progression

What is your ultimate ambition?  To build a happy and successful team where everyone achieves their best! I would also do more non-hairdressing and behind the scenes work in the salon.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Quirky, empathetic and caring.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others.   I'm a raver and love festivals. I met my husband to be on Tinder.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love creating?  I love doing balayage and cutting hair because I love seeing the beautiful results. They always look great on everyone.

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  Being able to help clients achieve their desired hairstyle and seeing the results of my hard work.  Most importantly, seeing my clients smile when they see their hair.     

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair? Fashion and uniqueness. 

What is your ultimate ambition?  To continue customising hair in different styles. 

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Patient, kind, sympathetic.

Tell us something about you that might surprise others.  I can paint, do construction and decorating.

Alicia also loves all things Goldwell and is a Goldwell Master Colourist which means she is trained to degree level in the art of hair colouring.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing?  I absolutely love cutting graduated bobs!! I love all aspects of colour but I do enjoy balayage and foiling the most as it can be so bespoke.

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  I love being a hairdresser because it allows me to express my creativity while making people feel confident and beautiful. It’s very rewarding transforming someone’s hair and seeing their face light up. I also enjoy the personal connections I get to build with my clients. It’s more then just hair, it’s about listening, understanding, and helping people feel their best.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  I absolutely love Daisy Goord. She’s a salon owner from Plymouth. Her foiling and blonde work is just amazing!!! I have a daughter now so that is all the motivation I need to get busy and fill my column to earn good money for her.

What is your ultimate ambition? Continuing my education and training to keep up with fashion changes and new products.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Creative. Musical. Thoughtful

Tell us something about you that would surprise others.  I have a signed song with Nervous record label with my fiancé. He produced it and I sung the vocals! It has been played all over the world and on radio 1.

Laura is our Front of House and has been with GOLSON since 2022. She looks after all of our visitors to the salon whether in person, over the phone or by email.  Laura is likely to be one of the first faces you see when you pop into the salon as part of our front of house team. 

What do you love about running the front of house?  I get to see and speak to everyone!

Who or what inspires you?  I love reading and learning, fiction and non-fiction.

What is your ultimate ambition?  I want to live by the sea!

How would you describe yourself in three words?  Chatty, eclectic, meticulous.

Tell us something about you that would surprise others.  I like camping and leopard print!

Which styles or colours do you love creating?  I love creating balayage and creative colours. My favourite is blondes - I love creating bespoke colours for my clients.

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  I love being creative and having a good connection with my clients. I love helping people to feel beautiful.  I am also constantly learning in an ever-changing industry.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  My inspiration comes from my personal passion and the desire to bring the best out in others. I get fresh perspectives through fashion, live runway shows and editorial looks.

What is your ultimate ambition?  To travel the world.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?   Passionate, confident, kind-hearted.

Tell us something about you that might surprise others.  I love spending my free time raving to drum and base.  I love to dance and I'm pretty good at it!

Madi has completed the Goldwell Academy's Finishing School and is currently studying NVQ Level 3 in advanced hairdressing.  

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing and why?  I love highlights/balayages but also all over colours for a huge colour change. I also enjoy doing bobs.

What do you love about being a hairdresser? I love how it makes the client feel and how I feel, knowing that the client loves their hair.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair? Everyone I work with at Golson. They inspire me to do my best and push me outside of my comfort zone.  I find the Goldwell social media very inspiring too.

What is your ultimate ambition?  I want to progress my skills to learn more, and become even more creative. I would also love to develop skills with hair extensions!

How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Hardworking, approachable and kind.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others. I have a twin brother who works as a barber!

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  Building brilliant relationships with my clients and being proud of my work, and making clients feel amazing.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  Education, trends and fashion... and being part of a fabulous team. 

What is your ultimate ambition?  To become a hairdressing ambassador for a colour house.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Funny, bubbly, caring.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others. I have a teenage son who's been working in a maternity ward for two years.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing and why?  Full head foils as I love the looks we can achieve. I also love bouncy blow dries and waves as a finished look.

What do you love about being a hairdresser?  Building up great relationships with my clients and helping them to achieve their desired look and feel great!

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?  Goldwell inspire me, I love seeing their latest colour transformations.

What is your ultimate ambition?  To become a hairdressing assessor.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Ambitious, driven, cheerful.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others.  I worked on a cruise ship 10 years ago - best experience of my life.

What do you love about hairdressing?  I love that I can achieve a look that someone loves... and being able to progress the career I've wanted to do since childhood.

Who or what inspires you?  Myself, and my dreams are get bigger every day.

What is your ultimate ambition?  To become the hairdresser I wanted to be when I was younger.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Bubbly, confident, over-achiever.

Tell us something about you that might surprise others.  I paint in my free time and love painting landscapes. I also love reading.
