Please read additional guidelines for COVID Secure measures in place, prior to your appointment

Prices are a guide only; please check with your stylist for an accurate quote upon consultation as additional charges will be applied for long / thick hair or additional toners required at colour appointments.

Skin tests are required 48 hours prior to all colour appointments.

A charge of 50% will be applied for clients not showing up for their appointment or cancelling with less than 24 hours notice.

Deposits are required for Kerasilk or high value colour appointments.  This is fully refundable or transferable to another date & time when over  48 hours notice is given.  We are unable to refund monies for no-shows or late cancellations

For some colour changes & balayage services, it may take more than one session to achieve your desired look.

Offers may not be used in conjunction with other offers & promotions and may be withdrawn at any time.

 

All promotions & offers may be subject to stylist availability and exclude Salon Director, Luke Golson

Online Purchases:

  • A P+P cost of £4.50 applies to gift card purchases, if receipt is time-sensitive, we do offer E-Cards via our online booking service and Cards can also be collected direct from the salon.
  • Gift Cards and Gift E-Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded and are valid for 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise specified in a promotion or offer.
  • We are not responsible if a Gift Card or Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.

ALLERGY TESTING

GOLSON is a colour responsible salon, and for this reason, in order to safe guard you, it is important for our team to adhere to the Allergy Testing policy, detailed here:

WHO has to have an allergy test?  ALL brand new colour clients at GOLSON Milton Keynes must have an allergy test carried out 48 hours prior to your first colour treatment.  If you’re one of our lovely regular clients, you will be asked a series of questions before any colour service takes place, so please have a read through, and if you’re unsure or have any questions, contact us at book@golsongroup.com, call 01908 904499, or pop in for a quick patch test. 

IF IT HAS BEEN 12 WEEKS OR MORE SINCE YOUR LAST COLOUR SERVICE WITH US
You will be required to have a new skin test 48 hours prior to your appointment.  

IF YOU ARE HAVING A SIGNIFICANT COLOUR CHANGE 
You will be required to have a new skin test 48 hours prior to your appointment.  

IF YOU HAD A COLOUR SERVICE WITH US WITHIN THE LAST 12 WEEKS
Please answer the questions below:

1. Did you have any reaction to your previous colour service with us?

2. Have you had any other colour service since your last visit with us?

3. Have you an especially sensitive or damaged scalp?

4. Have you had a tattoo, henna or permanent make-up applied since your last visit? o

5. Is there anything you feel your stylist should be told that may effect your colour service? 

IF YOU ANSWER YES TO ANY OF THE ABOVE QUESTIONS YOU WILL NEED ANOTHER SKIN TEST

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: I’ve used a home colour on my hair since my last appointment, do I need to be re-tested?
A: Yes, you will need to pop in 48 hours prior to your colour appointment to have a patch test.

Q: I’ve used a spray-on colour on my parting to hide my greys before coming in to see you. Do I need to be re-tested?
A: No, as this is a direct dye applied to the hair, you will not need a patch test.

Q: I’ve had a tattoo since my last colour appointment, does this matter?
A: Yes you must let us know and pop in for a patch test 48 hour prior to your colour appointment to check for any sensitivity since the tattoo. 

Q: I’ve had permanent makeup applied since my last visit, do I need to have another patch test?
A: Yes you do, this is the same as having a tattoo.  Please pop in 48hours before your appointment.
