With over 16 years experience working in the hair industry,our Salon Manager Emily is a hugely talented stylist, with a passion for colour, loving the balayage technique along with huge colour changes and vibrant colours using the incredible Elumen. Equally, Emily loves a great cut, is our resident Hair Extension technician and can create stunning hair up looks for special occasions.
Emily has been a familiar face at our GOLSON Oxley Park salon for a few years now and in 2024 joined the GOLSON Brooklands Square team as Salon Manager.
Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing and why? All colour particularly colour correction. I love all types of cuts - no job is too big or too small!
What do you love about being a hairdresser? I love to make people feel relaxed and happy in our salon and love when I have fixed an issue they've had so that they feel great!
Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair? My clients inspire me to be more creative and achieve career and skill progression
What is your ultimate ambition? To build a happy and successful team where everyone achieves their best! I would also do more non-hairdressing and behind the scenes work in the salon.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Quirky, empathetic and caring.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others. I'm a raver and love festivals. I met my husband to be on Tinder.
